Experience the Magic of Camp St. Dorothy's

Every summer we offer a variety of camps for kids of all ages. Review the descriptions and choose which one will work for you! We look forward to meeting you at camp.

Summer Camp Tuition Rates The full rate listed is the actual costs associated with hosting your camper at St. Dorothy’s Rest. Our first scholarship tier is “Partial Scholarship” or $200 off the full rate for each session. A campership is not required to receive a partial scholarship. St. Dorothy’s Rest receives funding from the Episcopal Diocese of California, parishes, individuals and foundations so that no child is ever turned away from attending camp due to an inability to pay. A Campership Application is required to receive a camp scholarship.

Come as You Are

All are welcome at St. Dorothy's Rest!

At St. Dorothy's Rest we affirm and celebrate the dignity and sacred worth of each and every camper, counselor, volunteer, staff member, and guest - regardless of race, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, socio-economic status, or ability

In 2019, St. Dorothy's added Gender Expansive bunking to our summer camp housing model, and our staff and volunteers work to foster an environment of radical inclusion through additional facility improvements, equity and diversity trainings, and adaptive programming. Sometimes referring to ourselves as as "The Island of Misfits", St. Dorothy's Rest aims to be a safe haven for those who have ever felt outcast or isolated on the basis of their expression or beliefs. Beloved, you are welcome here.

The Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day running of camp, leadership styles, working with youth and peers.
